Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 14 May 2026
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Lighthouse Social (“we”, “us”, “our”), a digital marketing agency based in the United Kingdom. By purchasing a plan or using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.
1. Services
Lighthouse Social provides AI-powered social media management services as described in the plan you have selected (Starter, Growth, Pro, or Enterprise). The specific deliverables for each plan are outlined on our Pricing page and in your order confirmation.
We reserve the right to modify or update our service offerings at any time. Where changes materially affect your plan, we will provide reasonable notice.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
Our services are provided on a recurring subscription basis, billed monthly or annually depending on the option selected at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
- Payment is taken at the start of each billing period.
- All prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
3. Cancellation & Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to receive the service until that date.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at hello@lighthouse-social.com within 14 days of the charge.
4. Onboarding & Your Responsibilities
To deliver our services effectively, you agree to:
- Complete our onboarding process promptly and provide accurate information about your business
- Grant us the necessary access to your social media accounts
- Respond to requests for content approvals or additional information in a timely manner
- Ensure that any materials you provide to us (e.g. images, logos, copy) do not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, you own the content we create for you. We retain the right to use anonymised examples of our work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless you request otherwise in writing.
Our brand, website, and proprietary processes remain the intellectual property of Lighthouse Social.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to create or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, misleading, or in breach of any platform’s terms of service. We reserve the right to refuse or remove content that violates these standards.
7. Limitation of Liability
We will always aim to deliver high-quality results, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as follower counts, engagement rates, or revenue growth, as these depend on many factors outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of the engagement and not to disclose it to third parties without prior written consent.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
